Mangalore: ICYM, CLC, YCS Celebrate Annual Day at Bajal Church

Mangalore, Jan 13: The annual day was celebrated by the  Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Christian Life Community and  Young Christian Students of Holy Spirit Church Bajal at Church School Ground here on the occasion of Parish Day on Sunday January 11.

Fr Alwyn Sequeira Carmelite was the chief guest. Michael Lobo, vice-president, parish pastoral council and Sr Amitha, Sr superior St Teresa's Convent, Bajal were the guests. Fr Antony V Lewis, parish priest, Holy Spirit Church and director ICYM, CLC, YCS presided over the function.
 


Welcome skit was performed by John Baptist Ward, while, Mishel group performed a welcome dance. Sweety, Rashmi and Roopa presented the annual  reports of YCS, ICYM, and CLC respectively. Jeshma handed over the  prizes to the winners of various events.
 
A 10th show of a drama 'Bokro' enthralled the audience at the end of a programme. It was directed by Felix Lasrado and written by Nellu Permannur. A felicitation function also held for Nellu Permannur on the event.
 
Carrel Periera, Deepak D'souza and Rahul Sequeira were present on the occasion.
