Beltangady, Feb 5: A married woman was found hanging from her house in Mundaje near here on Wednesday February 4 under suspicious circumstances.
Veena (30), who was married five years ago, was found dead in this way. She has two sons, who are aged two and four years respectively. Her brother Diwakar Shetty from Kasargod has filed a police complaint, expressing his reservations about the police theory that she had committed suicide.
The Beltangady tahsildar will be holding an inquiry into the woman's death. A case has been registered at Beltangady police station.
