Bangalore, Feb 5: Jagadish Pai K L, who hitherto was functioning as the general manager in the Human Resources Development wing of Bank of India, will be taking over charge as the executive director of Canara Bank at its head office here on Thursday February 5.

Pai, who joined Bank of India as a direct recruit officer in 1972, has worked as the head of the Bank's various zones. He is having an in-depth experience in corporate banking and also has earned overseas experience, having worked in New York.

As the head of the HRD wing of Bank of India, he provided a new direction to the human resource development of that Bank and successfully reached the corporate goal of the Bank. Pai, who is known as a man with bold stands and positive approach, is enthusiastic towards facing challenges.

Ancestors of 57-year old Pai, a B Com rank holder from Bangalore University, are from Kundapur in Udupi district.
