Mangalore: Man Arrested for Kidnapping Minor Girl

Mangalore, Feb 5: A person, who had enticed a minor girl by promising to marry her, was arrested by the city police on Wednesday February 5. They have booked him for kidnapping and raping a minor.

Ramamohan Reddy (27) from Anantpur, whose wife had died some time back, owns a mobile phone business in Bangalore. Allegedly, he befriended a minor girl through the internet. The girl was studying in Bangalore then. The parents of the girl, after discovering that the girl grew close to Reddy, shifted her to an institution located in the city for undergoing air hostess training.

The girl used to live in a hostel on Light House HIll Road here. She went missing some time back. After this incident, the parents filed a missing complaint in Pandeshwar police station here on January 12. It transpired that the girl and Reddy had started to live in Raichur, as a couple.

After Reddy was produced in the court, he was remanded to judicial custody.

    hi brijesh, Majority of our media run as per congress direction with western control. Who is going to question MEDIA? whatever media telecast we have to see. They will telecast as per monetary benefit they used to get.
