It is indeed a very wonderful gesture on the part of The KKMA to donate the dialysis units to Father Muller''s Medical College and Hospital. This will go a long way in helping poor patients and the ones who can afford in containing kidney problems.

I was on The Board of Father Muller''s Hospital for for over fifteen years and I am aware of the wonderful and caring services that they render to the suffering humanity. The present team of dedicated persons under the leadership of Father Patrick Rodriguez ably assisted by Father Stan Tauro and Father Denis Desa are doing a great job.

I have has occasions of meeting Dr. B.R. Shetty (His brother M.V. Shetty being a close friend) and I appreciate his efforts to help this christian institution dispelling all barriers. Joe Gonsalves

The politicians divide people in the name of religion & instigate their agents to destroy one another. On the other hand there are people like BR Shetty, a Hindu, appreciating the Kuwait Kerala Muslims who Donated Two Dialysis Machines to a Christian Hospital, Fr. Muller’s. This is called unity in diversity. The Sangh Parivar should realize that the blood of Hindu, Muslim, and Christian …… are the same. They all are the creation of the same Almighty. Let us all together develop this multi-religious, multi-linguistic, multi-cultural with diverse terrain India jointly with the support of one another. Over all development is the real development of the nation. We can’t afford to neglect one section & promote another section o f the society.

Great job of charity for a good cause and institution. I am of the hope a lot of needy people , rich and poor ,will benefit from this. I recall a family tragedy of 35 years ago, when my mother died of kidney failure at an early age of 37 leaving me and 7 of my siblings motherless. The then CMO of Fr Muller’s , the late Dr Venat Rao did his best to stabilize her with steroids. The only thing that would save her life was a dialysis which at that time was available only at Manipal and my mother was too weak to be shifted. We lost her.

When it comes to dear life, there is no poor or rich, no religion, no caste, no borders, no language , no nationality. I am happy now people will be blessed with these options donated by KKMA. Thank you and God bless to them all.
