Mangaluru: Justice Santhosh Hegde calls on youth to live value oriented life

Mangaluru, Oct 26: Highlighting the four pillars of our democratic nation, Justice Santhosh Hegde, retired Judge of Supreme Court and former Lokayukta, called on the youth to be value oriented in values like honesty, truthfulness, justice, to be content with what they are blessed with and above all to be human.

Addressing the youth who gathered for the third day of ‘Yuvajanothsava’, the youth convention of Karnataka held at Ballari from October 24 to 27 Justice Hegde said that only if they abide by the values can our Indian Constitution, democracy, judiciary and media which are the four pillars function.

Sharing his experience with examples of standing for justice for the sake of protection of human rights of the deprived he motivated the youth to live a value oriented life.

Bishop Henry D'Souza welcomed Justice Hegde. At the end of his exhortation, the youth had interface with him, asking questions on the need of committed leaders and anticorruption.
