Udupi: Two held with four kg ganja

Udupi, Oct 29: Two men, identified as Tipirneni Aditya from Hyderabad and Mogili Hemanth Reddy from Telangana were arrested on Sunday October 28. They have been accused of selling ganja in public places near Kalsanka here.

As much as 4.014 kg ganja worth about Rs 1.2 lac, two mobile sets valued at Rs 20,000, an Innova car worth seven lac rupees, and a cooter estimated to be worth Rs 30,000 were confiscated from their possession.

Ganja consumption: The police also arrested five persons who were seen consuming drugs in public places. Darios Antony Dias from near Syndicate Circle, Jerald Vikas and Dhruva Kodanda Devaiah from near Ideal Residency and Anubhav Bajpayee and Rajdeep Cahuhan from near Aditya Parva Apartment were arrested.
