Mangaluru, Oct 29: Under the instructions of the election commission, executive engineer of the city corporation here, Linge Gowda K S, has been transferred. He will work in the district urban development cell till the code of conduct period relating to city corporation council election comes to an end.
The election commissioner had sought suitable action on the basis of complaints made by H K Purushotham and several others. The district deputy commissioner accordingly issued transfer orders with immediate effect.
In his place, executive engineer of district urban development cell, G Sridhar, has been transferred.
