Mangaluru, Oct 30: MCC Bank holds farewell programme to Fredrick C S D’Souza, retired employee and half yearly performance review on Tuesday, October 29 at 10.00 am at the administrative office of the bank.

Anil Lobo, Chairman of the bank presided over the programme. The programme was started with a prayer by director Irene Rebello.

Sunil Menezes, general manager of the bank welcomed the gathering and, in his half yearly review of the bank, he emphasized the importance of deposit growth, growth in advances, NPA recovery and growth in CASA accounts. He appreciated the performance of the branches who have achieved the target and called upon the other branches to follow their example. He called upon the staff to work tirelessly in achieving the individual as well as the branch targets.



Fredrick D’Souza, staff of the bank, who got retired from service in July, 2019, was felicitated for his selfless service in the Bank for the last 38 years. Anand Nazareth, compliance officer, read the ‘Maan Patr’. Fredrick Dsouza, expressed his gratitude for the felicitation.

Irene Rebello, director of the bank was honored by the bank for receiving 15th Kalakar Puraskar from Karval Gharane and Mandd Sobhann, Mangaluru. Marcel Dsouza, director of the bank was honored by the bank for receiving 10th Kallachhu Prashasthi from Kallachhu Prakashana, Mangaluru.

The staff members who have achieved individual targets were honoured and staff members who celebrated their 50th birthday and staff members who celebrated their birthdays in the month of October were also felicitated. The managers of Hampankatta and Kinnigoli branches were appreciated for the growth in CASA accounts.

Anil Lobo, chairman of the bank, in his presidential speech, appreciated all the staff for their customer friendly service and their efforts towards the overall growth of the Bank and stressed upon to continue the same good work in future too. He also called upon the staff to increase the net worth of the bank.

Vice chairman Jerald Jude D’Silva, directors Marcel M D’Souza, Anil Patrao, Andrew D’Souza, David D’Souza, Irene Rebello, Dr Freeda D’Souza, professional directors, Micheal D’Souza and C G Pinto, were present.

Ovin Rebello, manager of Udupi branch, compered the programme and Raj Menezes, deputy general manager of the bank, rendered the vote of thanks.
