Kundapur: Catholic Sabha Udupi diocese extends Deepavali wishes to minister Kota Srinivas Poojary

Kundapur, Oct 30: On account of Deepavali, Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh met minister for fisheries, ports, internal transport and also Dakshina Kannada district-in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary at this residence at Kota near here on Wednesday, October 30 and extended greetings.

An appeal requesting to give more priority to the leaders of Christian community of the district in the Christian development board and minority corporation, in which the positions are vacant now was submitted to the minister on the occasion.

Responding to the appeal, minister Kota Srinivas Poojary assured that he will write a letter to the chief minister immediately in this regard and make an honest effort to give Christian leaders of Udupi district more priority in the Christian development Board and minority corporation.

The delegation included president of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh Allwyn Quadros, secretary Santhosh Cornelio, immediate past president Valerian Fernandes, former president Elroy Kiran Crasto, vice president Flyvan D'Souza, president designate Robert Menezes, senior member Valerian Menezes, president of Catholic Sabha Kota unit Herald Fernandes, secretary Saira Quadros, office bearers Maxim Dias, George Salins, Raphael D'Souza and others.
