Mangaluru, Oct 30: Akshatha (34) from Haripadavu here ended her life at her home on Tuesday October 29. She ended her life by hanging herself from a window of her home.

It is gathered that the lady's husband has been working abroad. After having dinner at around 8 pm on Monday, Akshatha had entered her room and closed the door. On Tuesday, she did not open the door of her room even at 7.30 am, and failed to respond to attempts made to wake her up.

The family members broke open the room door and found that she had ended her life by hanging. A case in this connection was lodged in Kadri police station here.
