Mangaluru, Nov 9: MLA U T Khader said, “People will answer the false propaganda of BJP in the upcoming election by voting to Congress party. Congress is able to reach to the people by the development works done in Mangaluru. Government had allotted Rs 125 crore in the budget for the development of Mangaluru which was under financial approval but after BJP came to power; their MLA’s could not even take steps to release the grant in their 100 days of government.

“People have seen the administration of BJP at the MCC. That is why the people of Mangaluru have not given a second chance to BJP to come back to power at MCC. They do not have broad vision towards the development of Mangaluru. During the last three months of the BJP government did any of the MLAs brought any special grants to the city?

“Government has no concern towards people as they slapping fine for ration cards which created trouble for a common man. If there is any party which imposes fine on food that is BJP party.”

When asked about Poojary’s statement that BJP is not bad, but Congress is the best, U T Khader said, “Poojary is my political guru and he is the one who taught me BJP is bad.”

Over Ayodhya verdict, he said, “The verdict is not for any community but belongs to the entire nation and should be obeyed. Those who politicize the verdict are the real traitors.

“We should obey Supreme Court’s (SC) verdict on Ayodhya. Those who misuse this verdict for political mileage are the real traitors,” he said.
