Bengaluru, Feb 28: “Bengaluru – Udupi – Karvar – Vasco train will start running from March 7. The date is announced in the railway schedule committee meeting,” said former MP Jayaprakash Hegde.
Speaking to news reporters in Mavinakatte, Hegde said that he congratulated the Kundapur railway campaign committee who have been urging repeatedly the concerned to start the train. “The committee has exerted unceasing efforts for it. I have also spoken to railway minister Suresh Angadi in this connection. I will travel on that train during its first journey if possible. The Vasco train will be convenient for people in this part since the beginning,” he said.
