Bengaluru, Mar 11: The state assembly session had to be postponed for 15 minutes as soon as it started as the issue of verbal duel that ensured yesterday between former speaker Ramesh Kumar and Sudhakar of BJP in the assembly yesterday continued to be a bone of contention between members of both parties.

In the beginning of the session itself, Eshwarappa of BJP urged the speaker to suspend Ramesh Kumar for violation of rights. Other members of BJP also supported his demand. From Congress's end Siddaramaiah urged to allow a discussion on the violation of rights of the assembly by Sudhakar of BJP. This led to heated exchanges of words between members of both parties.

In the midst of the chaos, speaker Kageri informed the house about the violation notice that is given by both the parties against Ramesh Kumar and Sudhakar. He also said that he will give opportunity for a discussion on this matter during the question and answer session.

At this point, both the parties demanded that discussion should be held first on their respective notice. Chaos in the assembly continued during this time. BJP members who noticed the absence of Ramesh Kumar in the assembly expressed their objection. Renukacharya and other members of BJP raised their voice and said, "Ramesh Kumar is an escapist. That is why he has not come to the session today. Where is the escapist?"

As the chaos continued speaker Kageri had to postpone the session for 15 minutes.
