Mangaluru: FMCOSH organise cultural fest 'Dhwani - 2020'

Mangaluru, Mar 12: 'Dhwani' Cultural Fest 2020 organized by the Father Muller College of Speech and Hearing (FMCOSH) was inaugurated on March 5 in the Academy Hall of Father Muller Charitable Institutions.

The name 'Dhwani' was chosen considering the association of the sense of hearing to the field of speech and hearing and this name will further remain constant for the upcoming cultural of FMCOSH, 'X -Men', 'Avengers', 'Justice League' were the teams competing with each other.

The off-stage cultural competitions from February 29 to March 4 were followed by the onstage competitions from March 5 to March 7.

The inaugural function commenced with an unveiling of the theme. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr Devina E Rodrigues vice-principal FMCON, and Fr Richard Coelho director, FMCI. The other dignitaries who presided over the inaugural ceremony were administrator FMMCH Fr Rudolf Ravi D'Sa, chief of research FMCI Dr B Sanjeev Rai, Fr Nelson Dheeraj Pais and Prof Akhilesh P M principal, FMCOSH.

Dr Devina E Rodrigues, Fr Richard Coelho and Prof Akhilesh P M addressed the gathering on the occasion. The valedictory program was held on the third day of the cultural event at 4 pm and which was preceded by Fr Richard Coelho.

The overall championship was backed by the team 'Justice League' with the runners up being the team 'Avengers'.

An event like 'Dhwani' aims to bring out professional artistic touch and refined talent in various forms. 'Dhwani' Cultural Fest 2020 a three-day cultural extravaganza is a platform where the students are blessed with an opportunity to display their talents and team spirit.
