Udupi, May 4: Deputy commissioner of the district G Jagadeesh has issued a new order, allowing the single and multi-brand showrooms to conduct business.

Jewellery stores, textiles, single and multi-brand shops can now operate their businesses. However, these shops are allowed a maximum of 25 customers at any given point of time and 25 staff members. In electronic showrooms, only 10 staff and 10 customers are allowed at any given time.

The showrooms are strictly ordered to desist from using air-conditioners. Every shop should be sanitized every day, the health of the staff members should be compulsorily checked on a regular basis, the order said.

    What is the action plan & pre-cautionery measurement for technicians, who vivisiting many houses under the supervision of these distributors for repairing Washing machine, cooking range, Air conditioners , Dishwasher, Dryer....so on. Whether repairing of items is exempted to tackle Covid-19.
