Mangaluru: Wenlock gets modern ICU beds, surgical block shortly

Mangaluru, May 16: Wenlock Hospital, which is presently functioning as a full-fledged COVID - 19 hospital, has been provided with 37 modern international standard ICU beds. They have been provided in the new building of the hospital. These beds have been funded under the smart city project.

These beds will be put to use for coronavirus patients now. Once the coronavirus treatment concludes, they can be used for others.

A new surgical block costing about Rs 37 crore that is under progress will also begin to serve the people shortly, hospital sources said.
