Udupi: Action against medical shops if medicines are sold without prescription – DC

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (HB/EP)

Udupi, Jun 16: “Medical shops are asked not to sell medicines for fever, cold and cough without a doctor’s prescription. Action will be taken against the medical shops that sell medicines without prescriptions,” warned DC, G Jagadeesha.

“All the medical shops in the district have been asked to submit details of medicines sold by them on a daily basis. It has come to our notice that several medical shops have failed to furnish them. They should mandatorily submit daily reports. Suitable action will be taken if the medical shops fail to do so,” he said.
