Bantwal: 3,417 students to write Class 12 English exam in 7 examination centres

Bantwal, Jun 17: The government is preparing to hold the Class 12 English examinations after COVID-19 lockdown ends. Around 3,417 students will be writing the examination in seven examination centres. Nearly 226 students who earlier wrote the examination in the taluk will be writing it in other districts. Over 108 Kerala students will write the English exam in two centres in the taluk.

A distance of two meters will be maintained between students. They are also required to carry their own drinking water and sanitizers. They should enter the centre wearing masks after sanitization.

Separate counters will be opened for each college where the temperature of the student will be checked. Students with abnormal temperatures, cold and cough will be writing the examination in separate rooms. Medical officers and medical assistants will be present in the centres.

Talukwise details:

Over 611 students from two Modankap Carmel Convent Pre University colleges, 610 students from three Bantwal Vidyagiri SVS Pre University colleges, 313 students from three Marnabail Melkar Women’s PU colleges, 476 students from four Kurnad Government PU colleges, 322 students of four Vamadapadavu Government PU colleges and 688 students of four Vitla PU colleges will be writing the examination. Some of the students who wrote the examination in the taluk earlier have opted to write them in other districts. Similarly a few students from other districts will be writing the examination in the taluk.

Over 40 students will arrive from the Kerala border to the specified centres to write the examination.
