Mangaluru, Jun 18: Relating to the firing incident in the city, four charge sheets have been filed in the second JMFC court here.
In connection with the firing, a case had been registered in Bunder police station here while 13 had been filed in Pandeshwar station. Three cases including the leading case were handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). The CID had filed a charge sheet in one of the cases in the month of March itself, it is now learnt. Filing of charge sheets by CID in two more cases is pending.
The charge sheets contain over 600 pages. Out of the 13 cases mentioned above, charge sheets in three cases were filed 10 days back. A total of 464 persons have been sighted as accused in the charge sheets, it is learnt.
In the remaining cases too, the investigation has almost been completed, police sources said.
