Udupi: Security service company owner commits suicide by hanging

Udupi, Jul 24: Ashish (30), a resident of Palli village, Karkala has ended his life by hanging at his residence on July 24.

He was staying with his wife Shwetha (30) and three-year-old son Takshak in Bengaluru running TAS Security Service Agency. He had borrowed money for his business and his lenders were demanding their money back.

Ashish had come to his home town with his family six months ago. Those who had lent money demanded repayment while Ashish was in his home town as well. Finally, he decided to end his life and committed suicide hanging from a ceiling fan with a nylon rope in the morning between 6 am and 7 am on July 24 in his bedroom at his house in Bommarabettu village.

A case under registration No. 23/2020 CRPC 174 has been filed in Hiriadka police station on the basis of a complaint from his wife in this connection.
