Bantwal, Dec 19: Veteran of Nujibail clan, resident of Manchi village, Ishwara Bhat (101) passed away in his residence here on Friday December 18. He is survived by three daughters.

He was well known as a farmer, guide and elite person in the society and had served in educational and social sectors.

He was one of the founders of Manchi government high school and was the president of school development committee. He was the convener of Nujibail higher primary school for three decades and was popular in the society.
