Mangalore: ‘Desh Devo Bhava’ to Create National Awareness on Sep 3, 4

Mangalore, Sep 3: ‘Desh Devo Bhava’ organized by Sanatana Natyalaya is a two-day programme aimed at arousing awareness and love towards our nation. It will be held at Town Hall on Friday September 3 and Saturday September 4.

The programme aims at creating awareness about need for respect towards our nation, remembering the soldiers who are protecting our nation, remembering the history of the nation, and thoughts about the life of the common man in the country.

Students of Sanatana Natyalaya will perform traditional songs with dance carrying a message of love towards the nation.

Director of Sanatana Natyalaya Chandrashaker K Shetty, speaking to Daijiworld, said that the programme is being organized to create awareness among the people that farmers are the backbone of the nation and never put them down. “Discrimination on grounds of caste shall be stopped and development of the nation is the motto of the programme”, he said.

Dance director Sharadamani Chandrashaker, Vidushi Shreelatha Nagraj, and Adarsha Gokhale Karkala are the other organizers of the programme.
