Bantwal, Sep 3: The 78th annual Mosaru Kudike Utsav organized under the aegis of Srirama Bhajana Mandir in Kalladka on Thursday September 2 attracted the attention of a large crowd. Various tableaux painstakingly created by different organization provided a grand ambience to the festivities. Tableaux of a huge tiger and 'Vishwaroopa Darshana' were particularly thrilling to watch.

Teams of youngsters were seen roaming around the town and making human pyramids on Thrusday evening, to break earthen pots tied to ropes at unreachable heights.

Rashtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh leader, Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, district BJP president, K Padmanabh Kottary, former MLA, A Rukmaya Poojary, and other leaders participated in the programme. The policemen kept a tight vigil under the supervision of circle inspector, K Nanjunde Gowda.

As the rainfall was remarkably less on Thursday, Mosaru Kudike Utsav could be celebrated all over the taluk by the devotees in a grand manner. The general public exulted in the Utsav programmes organized at various places including Farangipet, Tumbe, B C Road, Ajjibettu, Nelligudde, Punchody Sajipamooda, Marnabail, Mani, Rayi, Annalike, Siddakatte, Bastikody and several other places in Bantwal taluk.
