Puttur, Sep 3: Don Bosco Club felicitated 46 students in a Pratibha Puraskar programme at Mai De Deus Church Hall here, recently.
A sum of Rs 60,000 was distributed as scholarship award for 35 deserving students of the parish.
Seetharam Kevala, principal, Indus College was the chief guest. Fr Gerald D’Souza, director of the club presided. John Cutinho, president, Don Bosco ‘Educare Committee’ welcomed the gathering. Club president Claudius D’Souza distributed the scholarships.
Secretary Arun Rebello proposed the vote of thanks. V J Fernandes compered the programme.
