Mangalore: Cyril D’souza Elected Prez of MACO Co-Op Society

Mangalore, Oct 8: Cyril D’Souza, former chief secretary of Mangalore City Auto Rickshaw Drivers’ Union and partner of REX Associates has been elected as the president of MACO Co-operative Society Ltd.

His stint will be on for two and half years. The co-operative society started functioning 34 years ago undertaking trades such as banking, petrol bunk and credit services. The society has announced eight percent of dividend in the annual general meeting held this year.

Cyril D’souza will stay as the president from 2010 to 2013. Michael Patrick Lobo has been elected as the vice-president.
