Mangalore: Usman Haji Elected District Wakf Board Prez

Mangalore, Oct 11: Usman Haji has been elected as the new district president of Karnataka Wakf Board as per the recommendations made by BJP district president Padmanabha Kottary, district in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar and MLA Yogish Bhat here on Monday Oct 11.

After taking the office charge, Haji said that under his regime Wakf Board will work to benefit the people of minority community. He thanked everyone for electing him for the post.

Former district president of BJP Monappa Bhandary, Wakf Board member Rahim Uchil, A R Fazal Asigoli, Sirajuddin Mudipu and Idinabba Nandavar among others were present.
