Kundapur, Jan 27: Spoorthy S Fernandes, a student of Bhandarkar’s College, bagged the 8th rank in the BA examinations held during 2009-10 by Mangalore University.
Spoorthy is an alumnus of Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar, and Viveka Pre-University College, Kota.
She is the daughter of Louis John Fernandes and Irene Fernandes, residing in the city. Both John and Irene are teachers by profession.
