Bangalore: Alumni Meet Unites Agnesians

Bangalore, Feb 16: The Agnesian Alumni comittee , Bangalore chapter held an Agnesian Alumni meet on the 13th Feb 2011 at the Raintree hall , Catholic club.

Sr Olivia AC was the chief guest. This event was witnessed by around 125 members, ranging in age from 18yrs to 80 yrs. Programme started with the College Anthem followed by the welcome speech by the President Hilma Roach.

The Secretary Coreen Fareed, then took over and read out the report giving a summary of the various events that were organised through the year- like picnic, a social and a visit to the blind school and so on. Treasurer Fiona D'Souza gave an account of the financial status of the association. The Vice president Yvonne Rasquinha conducted the elections for the current year. Chief guest addressed the audience reiterating the values of St Agnes College urging them to live by these values in their daily lives and to reach out to the lesser fortunate.

Various games were held at the end of the programme. Catholic club organised lunchfor all the members gathered, the meeting ended with the ladies promising to keep intouch with each other.
