Mangaluru: Lecture on 'The person of Christ and people of God: Pastoral challenges' held

Mangaluru, Aug 24: Chair in Christianity, Mangalore University and St Joseph’s Seminary Jeppu jointly organized a lecture on the topic, 'The person of Christ and the people of God: Pastoral challenges' on August 23 at St Joseph’s Seminary Jeppu.

Fr Joswin D’Souza, moderator of the session extended a warm welcome to all the guests and introduced the speaker. Dr Jose Panadan SJ, the speaker of the day, who has been a zealous priest enlightened and inspired all with his own pastoral experience. He shed light on the ecclesiastical scenario of Gujarat and invited all to be the zealous Christians by reaching out to needs of the people.

Fr Ronald Serrao, rector of the seminary, Fr Ivan D’Souza, head of the Chair in Christianity, seminary professors, sisters and students were present for the lecture.
