Udupi: Devotees to get darshan of Ganesha seated inside a bottle on Vinayaka Chaturthi

Udupi, Aug 27: Come this Vinayaka Chaturthi, people of Udupi will get a darshan of Ganesha idol that is seated inside a bottle.

This idol which has been created by artist Mahesh Marne will be on display and offered pooja at the Ganeshotsava being held at Ganesha Mantapa of Udupi's Maruthi Veethika.

The bottled Ganesha idol will be kept for public darshan. The idol is a work of art made of clay that was created about a decade ago.

The idol will be kept for public darshan at Shyam Complex on the festival day of August 31 from morning to evening, according to Ganeshotsava Samithi general secretary at Maruthi Veethika Ganesh Raj Sarlebettu.
