Bantwal: CPI’s 24th DK-Udupi conference held

Bantwal, Aug 27: The 24th conference of Communist party of India (CPI), Dakshina Kannada (DK) and Udupi was set in motion at A Shantaram Pai memorial auditorium, Bantwal Bypass on Saturday morning, August 27.

The flag hoisting for the three daylong conference was conducted by CPI leader A Prabhaker Rao. CPI state secretary Sati Sundaresh inaugurated the conference and spoke on the occasion.

Premanath K, Rati S Bhandary, M P Rao and guests CPI districts secretary V Kukyan, district co secretary V Seetarama, CPI state board member B Shekar, CPI Mangaluru secretary M Karunakar, Bharati Prashanth, B Babu Bhandary, Suresh Kumar and others were present.

CPI Bantwal taluk secretary Suresh Kumar welcomed and compered the programme.
