Udupi: Table tennis associations set to organize tournament on Sep 4 - Registrations open

Udupi, Aug 29: Udupi District Table Tennis Association and DK District Table Tennis Association in conjunction with Udupi Sports and Cultural Foundation and Padukone Table Tennis Centre for Excellence, are organising a District-ranking Table Tennis Tournament at the Tennis Indoor Stadium, Ajjarkad, Udupi, on the occasion of National Sports Day on September 4.

The tournament will be held in six different age-groups and other open categories as below:
1. Boys and girls under 9
2. Boys and girls under 11
3. Boys and girls under 13
4. Boys and girls under 15
5. Boys and girls under 18
6. Men and women above 50

Along with
7. Men’s and women’s singles
8. Open team events
9. Open doubles

Last date for registration is Thursday, September 1. Players from Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts are eligible to register. Eight entries are a minimum for a category to operate.
