Mangalore: Maria Advertisers Gets New Address in City

Mangalore, Jan 18: Maria Advertisers, one of the leading advertising agencies in the city, has moved from Karnglapady to its new premises in Essel Tower, M G Road.
The inauguration of the new office was held on Sunday January 18. The advertising firm led by H R Alva, a well-known community leader, is in its 15th successful year.
Albert W D’Souza, managing director, Printania Offset Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, and founder of ALDEL Education Trust, inaugurated the event. Earlier, Fr Ajit Menezes, assistant parish priest of Bejai, blessed the new office.
“H R Alva has taken the courage to develop his business during recession. He always loves challenges and at a young age he sacrificed a good corporate job and took the risk of becoming an entrepreneur. Due to his customer-friendly skills and public relations he has been successfully running an advertising business for 15 year, and he will continue his good work”, said Albert D’Souza in his inaugural address
“It is a great thing to know that the clients who once approached Maria Advertisers are still with the firm. It shows customer loyalty towards the advertising agency and the quality of service of this firm”, he added.
Thomas Alva, father of H R Alva, and Christine Fernandes, mother-in-law of H R Alva, were honoured during the programme. Albert D’Souza and his wife Elvina D’Souza did the honours. Divakar Shenoy, chief manager, Corporation Bank, Kadri, and Fr Ajith Menezes were the other guests present on the dais.
Harsha Alva spoke about the progress and achievement of Maria Advertisers over the past 15 years. Concepta Alva and Heera Alva compered the programme.
H R Alva, proprietor, proposed the vote of thanks and the event concluded with lunch.
