Mangaluru: Sexual harassment case – Accused acquitted

Mangaluru, Mar 3: An accused in sexual harassment of a girl was acquitted by the district and sessions court of the city.

Abdulla alias Beta, a resident of Bajpe is the accused, who is acquitted by the court. A case under POCSO was registered against him on May 13, 2019 at the women police station in city.

Additional district and sessions court conducted inquiry of 13 witnesses. As the guilt could not be proven, the court acquitted the accused.

Lawyer Jeeshan Ali Suratkal argued for the accused.
