Aishwarya J K bags 'Miss Mangalore-2023' first runner up title

Mangaluru, Apr 5: Young promising model Aishwarya J K won ‘Miss Mangalore-2023 first runner up’ conducted by NB Group on Sunday, April 2 at Dark lounge, Saibeen complex in the city.

A three-day grooming sesson was conducted by NB group at Dark lounge, Saibeen complex in the city. Five rounds were held such as introduction round, talent round, traditional round, western round and question and answer round. The pageant was held for three titles Mr Mangalore - 2023, Miss teen Mangalore - 2023 and Miss Mangalore - 2023. More than 50 contestants from various parts of the state took part in the contest. After the question and answer round, Aishwarya won the title 'Miss Mangalore -2023' first runner up.

She also received the subtitle ‘Super Model-2023’.

Aishwarya is currently pursuing her doctorate in pharmacy in Karavali College of Pharmacy in Mangaluru. She hails from Mangaluru and is the daughter of Janardhana K and Rajani J K.

Speaking to Daijiworld.com, Aishwarya said, “Modelling has always interested me since my childhood and it all happened with my mom’s support. She encouraged me when I was 6 to participate in a kid's pageant which was unknowingly a first step towards my journey in modelling. I have also taken party in college pageant and won the title of ‘Padua Princess-2014’ but unfortunately lost the title of ‘Miss Padua-2019’. This made me realise thar 'hard work is the key to success'. I have worked hard to get success and now I am proud that I have proved myself by winning the title ‘Miss Mangalore- 2023' first runner up. I will always be grateful to the NB Group for giving me a wonderful opportunity.”

“My dream is to be a runway model in passion, clinical pharmacist in profession and an inspiration to future models,” she added.
