Belthangady: Inauguration, blessing ceremony of newly built public bus-stand held at Nirkan

Belthangady, Apr 9:  The public bus stand opposite of St Thomas the Apostle Church Nirkan (Vogga) was newly built by Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) Nirkan Unit was inaugurated on April 9 (Easter Sunday) at 9:15 am. The president, Alphonse Fernandes welcomed the gathering.

The parish priest of Nirkan Church and also the spiritual director of Nirkan Unit Fr Leo William Lobo and Stany Lobo - president of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R.) inaugurated by cutting the ribbon (yellow and white) one by one.

Thereafter Dr Ronald Serrao, rector of St Joseph's Seminary Jeppu- Mangaluru blessed the bus stand and led the prayer.

The inaugrator Fr Leo William Lobo wished the members of Nirkan Unit for the completion of new project.

On this Occasion, Vincent Bennis - vice president of Nirkan Parish; Sr Sevrine Fernandes, head-mistress St Thomas Hr Primary School - Nirkan; Sr Celine Vas - superior of Holy Family Convent, Nirkan; Anisha Fernandes, secretary and office bearers; former presidents and members of Catholic Sabha Nirkan Unit were present on this occasion. The parishioners and peoples of locality were also present at this moment and well wished for the completion of the project.

At the end, president Alphonse Fernandes thanked the sponsors and voted his thanks to all the gatherings present over there.
