Dr Ashwath joins BJP’s Magadi candidate to file nomination, Nirani files token papers

Bengaluru, Apr 13: Higher Education Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan accompanied the ruling BJP’s Magadi assembly constituency candidate Prasad Gowda while the latter files his nomination papers on Thursday.

The BJP candidate and the minister were taken in a massive procession before filing the papers.

Meanwhile, Industry Minister Murugesh Nirani filed a token nomination papers from the BJP for the Bilagi assembly constituency in Bagalkot district on Thursday. Nirani is filing another set of nomination papers formally later.
