Kundapur, Apr 13: B M Sukumar Shetty stated in a press conference, "I am 100% BJP. Let there be no doubt about it. I am not upset about not receiving the ticket. I will discuss my stance with my supporters and well-wishers and inform them of my decision in the next two days."

Shetty expressed his discontentment with not being informed three months ago that he would not receive the ticket. He received a call from former Chief Minister H D K, to which he replied, "I will not come." He also received phone calls from BSY and CM Bommai, who stated that they were with him and asked him not to make any hasty decisions. He also said, "I am not so cheap to revolt. I will not oppose. I will wish them well."

"I consider myself fortunate to have served the constituency for five years. I have also worked towards the victory of our party candidates in the zilla panchayat and taluk panchayat elections," he added.

Byndoor mandala president, Deepak Kumar Shetty, called for the victory of the candidate announced by the party and said, "All of us are with Sukumar Shetty."

Priyadarshini Devadiga, Prakash Poojary Jeddu, Harkur Manjayya Shetty, and Ananda Kharvi Uppunda were also present at the conference.
