Kaup, Apr 15: Kaup constituency BJP candidate Gurme Suresh Shetty will be submitting his nomination at Kaup on April 17. “I will offer pooja at Kaup Laxmi Janardhan temple, proceed by walking in procession to Kaup Adalitha Soudha and file my nomination there,” he said.

Speaking in the news conference, he said that Tamil Nadu BJP president and Karnataka election in-charge Annamalai, Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon, Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat, Udupi candidate Yashpal Suvarna and others will be present during the filing of nomination. “Nearly twenty thousand people will participate in the procession. The development by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is my armour. I am confident of winning by a huge margin,” he said.

MLA Lalaji Mendon, coastal development authority former president Mattar Rathnaker Hegde, Kaup BJP president Srikanth Nayak, Delhi MLA Vijay Gupta, leaders Prakash Shetty Padebettu, Gangadhar Suvarna, Shilpa Suvarna and Geethanjali Suvarna were present.
