Assembly polls: Four nominations filed by three candidates on second day in Mangaluru, Bantwal

Mangaluru/Bantwal, Apr 15: “Four nominations are filed by three candidates at Mangaluru and Bantwal Assembly constituencies on April 15 the second day for the elections to be held for eight Assembly constituencies in the district on May 10, 2023,” said district election officer and deputy commissioner Ravikumar M R.

JD(U) party candidate Krishna Poojary has filed a nomination and independent candidate Deepak Rajesh has submitted two nominations from 204-Mangaluru constituency. BJP candidate Rajesh Naik has filed a nomination from Bantwal.

No nominations were filed from 200 – Beltangady, 201-Moodbidri, 202-Mangaluru north, 203-Mangaluru south, 206-Puttur and 207-Sullia constituencies.

Altogether, six nominations were filed from five candidates so far. April 20 is the last day for filing of nominations.
