Mangaluru, Apr 18: Sri Pranavananda Swamiji expressed disappointment for after leaders from the Billawa community were not given tickets for the forthcoming elections.

Addressing media here on Monday April 17, Sri Pranavananda Swamiji said, “The Billawa community has faced injustice in the distribution of tickets for the upcoming elections. Only one leader was given ticket, despite 9 Billawa leaders applying for the same. The Congress has not considered them.

“The Congress is yet to announce candidate in Mangaluru North constituency and I urge the party to consider a Billawa leader for the same. If not, a protest foot march will be carried out on April 26 from BC Road to Kudroli temple,” he said.
