Kundapur, Apr 18: “The more than expected support that I am receiving from people has made me glad,” said Byndoor Vidhan Sabha Congress candidate, former MLA K Gopala Poojary. He was speaking to reporters at Byndoor after a rally of Congress activists by foot from Byndoor to Yedthare on Tuesday.

“Regardless of what anybody says, people of all ages including women have realized the problems being faced by ordinary people due to the BJP. A large number of activists that were not seen in the past walked with me in the procession today. Congress keeps its promises. I will solve all the issues of fishermen in the constituency,” he said.

“One round of visits is already completed. Party workers have already conveyed the party assurances to the houses. I will win with a margin of more than 35,000 votes,” he said.

Vandse block Congress president Pradeep Kumar Shetty, Byndoor block Congress president Madan Kumar and others were present.
