Vande Bharat train arrives in Kasargod

Kasargod, Apr 20: As the Vande Bharat express train is extended up to Kasargod, it arrived in the city railway station on Wednesday in the second trial run. The train reached the station at 1.08 pm and was received by thousands of public, BJP leaders and workers.

The train reached Kasargod after it was welcomed at several districts. In Kasargod the train was welcomed by the BJP, Muslim League, Railway Passengers’ association and the public with band, flower petals and garlands.

MP Rajmohan Unnithan, MLAs N A Nellikunnu, A K M Ashraf, BJP state secretary Srikanth were present.

The train which left Tiruvananthapuram at 5.20 am reached Kannur in 6.53 hours. After three minutes of stoppage at Kannur it started journey to Kasargod. From Tiruvananthapuram to Kasargod, the train took 7.48 hours. The train left Kasargod back to Tiruvananthapuram at 2.20 pm. Three days ago, the train did the first run till Kannur. In the first trial it took seven hours and 10 minutes and in the second the train reached Kannur from Tiruvananthapuram in six hours and 53 minutes.

    What's the use? At least 90% passengers traveling from Kerala to Mangalore are Mallus. We need Vande Bharat from M'lore to Mumbai and from Karwar to B'lore.

    Exactly, everything coming to Mangalore extended to Kerala then why not this? In the coming days add these three also in Vande Bharath's list: 1. Mangalore - Bangalore 2. Mangalore - Madgao 3. Madgao - Mumbai
