Mangaluru, Apr 22: “Sitting MLA Vedavyas Kamath should tell the voters of the constituency why he obtained the injunction order from the principal civil court against 67 media houses,” said KPCC spokesperson A C Vinayaraj.

He was addressing the press at the Congress Bhavan here on Saturday, April 22.

He said, “Media is the fourth pillar of democracy. Why MLAs Umanath Kotian and Sanjeeva Matandoor and BJP president Sudarshan Moodbidri went to the court seeking injunction order. If they have not committed any mistake, why do they need to fear?

“Vedavyas should answer the people and voters why he went to the court seeking the injunction order against media if he has not committed any mistake. No Congress leaders have approached court seeking injunction orders. Political representatives should have good character. If character is good, one need not fear,” he said.
