Byndoor, Apr 23: The BJP does not hold ownership of Hindutva, nor does anyone have ownership of Hinduism. KPCC State President DK Shivakumar emphasized that he and Siddaramaiah are both Hindus while speaking at a Congress workers' convention held at JNR Sabhabhavan here on Sunday, April 23.

He expressed his happiness that Gopal Pujari had won by a margin of 50,000 votes in Byndoor.

Bommai had accused Congress of a lack of unity, to which Shivakumar responded by stating that the BJP had misunderstood his words. He clarified that he had not said the BJP dam had burst but instead that the lock of the dam was in Jagdish Shettar's hand.

Shivakumar criticized the BJP's tendency to dismiss elders as soon as they reach a certain age and emphasized the Congress's respect for its elders.

Regarding the Byndoor Shrine, Shivakumar remarked that power is a fleeting achievement while the voter is Lord Parameshwar. He also commented on the alliance between JDS and Congress in an effort to keep BJP away, stating that H D Kumaraswamy did not succeed, and joked that the latter was not lucky enough.
