Udupi, Apr 24: Deputy commissioner (DC) Kurma Rao said that all personnel who are deputed for election duty must understand all the works related to the elections, clear all doubts and should not get confused on the day of polling.
The DC was speaking at the training programme that was organized at St Cecily Convent in the city on Monday.
DC Rao asked the personnel to know about the use of EVMs and VVPATs and other details as per the guidelines of EC and clarify all doubts from the trainers.
He also said that polling is of utmost importance for the success of any election. He asked all the polling officers and assistants to work in unison and responsibly.
