Mangaluru: BJP to hold special election campaign on April 25, 26

Mangaluru, Apr 24: “The BJP will be holding a special publicity campaign across the state on April 25 and 26. State, district, taluk level and national leaders will participate in it,” said BJP leader Kota Srinivas Poojary.

Addressing media on Monday April 24, he said, “The campaign and press conferences will be held at the same time at 224 Vidhan Sabha constituencies. As many as 98 union ministers, national leaders and more than 150 state leaders will take part in them.

“Chief ministers, former chief ministers, ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, district panchayat, taluk panchayat, corporation members and municipal council members will be present.

“The campaigns will consist of news conferences, road shows at Hobli and taluk centres, public meetings, house-to-house visits seeking votes, meetings with chief activists, community leaders, beneficiaries and leaders. Local statues will be garlanded, temples and shrines will be visited, and public meetings will be held at important junctions and streets.

“J P Nadda, national president, Amit Shah, union home minister, Rajnath Singh, union defence minister, Arun Singh, national chief secretary and Karnataka state in charge, Dharmendra Pradhan, union minister and Karnataka election in charge, Nirmala Sitaraman, union minister, C T Ravi, National chief secretary and MLA, Mansukh Mandwiya, union minister and Karnataka election in charge, K Annamalai, Tamil Nadu state president and Karnataka election assistant in charge, Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra deputy chief minister, Smriti Irani, union minister, Nalin Kumar Kateel, state president and MP, Basavaraj Bommai, chief minister, B S Yediyurappa, former chief minister, Sadananda Gowda, former state chief minister and MP, Shobha Karandlaje, election management committee, convener and state minister, Govinda Karajola, state minister, B Sriramulu, state minister, R Ashok, state minister, V Somanna, state minister, Ishwarappa, state former minister, A Narayanaswamy, union minister and Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, SC Morcha state president and VHP member will be part of the campaign,” he said.
