Beltangady, Apr 25: A man who went to have a bath in the rivulet got drowned at Shantiya rivulet in Puduvettu village.

Jaison P V (34), resident of Kancherikanda of Thotattadi village, had come to his elder sister's house and went to have bath at Shanitya rivulet along with his friend Stanly on Sunday.

Jaison drowned while having a bath and his mortal remains could not be traced.

Jaison’s dead body was found on Monday. Dharmasthala police have registered a case and are investigating further.
