Mangaluru, Apr 25: “The condition of Ullal is like that of Uttar Pradesh (UP) ten years ago. The Election Commission should take legal action against Congress followers who threatened and forced a candidate to withdraw his nomination and fill people with courage,” said BJP Mangaluru mandala president Chandrahas Pandith House. He was speaking in the news conference held at the BJP office here on Tuesday April 25.

“Congress activists have disrupted the constitution. The voters will be afraid to vote because of such actions. The election commission should take Suo Moto action against the guilty.

“The first stage of the election campaign by the BJP is over today. Congress leaders have joined BJP at Amblamogaru. There is a wave in favour of BJP and BJP is getting good support. We are confident that BJP will win with a margin of 15,000 votes. The Congress is creating an impatient atmosphere due to fear of losing,” he said.

BJP’s Sathosh Rai Boliar, Chandrahas Ullal, Chandrashekar Uchil, K Ravindra Shetty Ulidottu, Chennappa Kotian, Hemanth Shetty Deralakatte and Jeevan Kumar Thokkottu were present.
